Instead of working from a hierarchical system, we shape everything that Danshuis Haarlem is together. Every teacher is an independent entrepreneur and co-owner of the direction we take.

Our collaboration is based on trust, shared ownership and a shared vision of dance as an art form and learning process. Policy, lesson content, productions and projects are developed together. This means that every teacher is not only responsible for their own classes, but also contributes to the bigger picture: from artistic choices to practical implementation of the annual program.
