Teacher modern and children
In 2022, I graduated cum laude as a dance teacher from Codarts Rotterdam. My passion for dance then took me to Cyprus, where I spent a year delving into modern dance, floorwork, and improvisation at the PERA School of Performing Arts.
What do I love most? Sharing my passion for dance. In recent years, I've taught and worked with diverse audiences in various places around the world. In Panama, I mentored talented young people in a talent development program. In Tanzania, I immersed myself in traditional African dance and shared my knowledge of modern dance. In Colombia, I created a performance with dancers from various countries, which we then performed together. And in Greece, I developed a choreography for 60 women and children in a refugee camp.
Currently, I dance and work in the Netherlands with diverse groups of people – from young to old. I find it magical to see how people discover their own bodies and strength through movement, push their boundaries, and find space for freedom and creativity. When someone leaves the dance hall with sparkling eyes, I know: something has opened up. That's when my day is a success.
