Danshuis Haarlem is a dance and ballet school in Haarlem offering classes for all ages. It is a creative collective of dance artists and, besides regular classes, also provides professional programs, productions, and projects.

Yes, you can take a trial class if there is space. The trial is non‑binding. If you decide to continue, you must enroll within one week.
You can enroll via the registration form on our website. Enrollment implies agreement with our terms and conditions. For professional programs, see the Danshuis Academy.
After enrollment, full tuition is due. Payment is preferably by SEPA direct debit and can also be made in installments. In case of non‑payment, access to the studio may be denied.
The regular season runs from September through June. In July and August the studio is closed, unless special summer programs are offered.
Dancers must follow the house rules and teacher instructions. Specific dress codes apply to certain classes. Outdoor shoes are not allowed in the studios.
If a teacher is ill or absent, we try to arrange a substitute or reschedule. If more than two classes are cancelled without replacement, you are entitled to a proportional refund.
Yes, we organize dance performances in theatres and special venues. There is also Dance Group Haarlem, our ensemble where ambitious dancers can audition.

Yes, through the Danshuis Academy talented dancers are prepared for a professional career. Tracks include the preparatory course, the top year, and the dance artist program.
Dance Group Haarlem is the ensemble that grew out of Danshuis Haarlem. It is for well‑trained and motivated dancers (18+) who want to continue dancing at a high level. Participation requires audition.
The terms and conditions cover enrollment, tuition, payment, cancellation, and liability. Participation is always at your own risk.
Danshuis Haarlem respects your privacy and processes personal data according to the privacy policy. Images are only used with consent. You have rights to access, correction, and deletion of your data.
