Dance Training in the Netherlands

This dance programme is part of an intensive training pathway in the Netherlands aimed at preparing students for a professional dance career. Students train several times per week, developing technique, strength, musicality, and performance skills.

The programme is structured as a continuous training pathway in which students are gradually prepared for auditions for higher professional dance education.

Programme Structure

Who is this programme for?

This programme is designed for motivated dancers who are serious about developing towards a professional dance career. Students train several days per week and receive individual guidance in their technical and artistic development.

Classical ballet as the foundation of our training

Classical ballet and modern dance form the technical core of our dance programme. Students follow several ballet classes per week based on the Vaganova method, focusing on posture, placement, turnout, jump technique and musicality.

This ballet foundation is not a separate track, but woven throughout the entire programme — from the early years of the preparatory course through to the top year and dance artist training. As students progress, pointe work, classical repertoire and partnering are introduced, built up at a pace appropriate to age and physical development.

This strong classical ballet foundation directly meets the admission requirements of dance academies such as Codarts, the National Ballet Academy and AHK.
