Teacher modern, classical ballet and children


I'm Femke and I've loved moving since I was a kid. For me, dance is a perfect combination of being physically and theatrically active at the same time.

I danced at Danshuis Haarlem throughout my youth and I started at the pre-education when I was 9 years old. Since I was 14 I have done internships with different teachers and developed a passion for teaching.

This year I am following the dance artist training at Danshuis Haarlem, where I will further immerse myself in teaching and the art of dance itself.

I started teaching myself last year, I enjoyed it immensely and really enjoyed sharing my passion for dance with the groups I taught. I'm really looking forward to this again this year!
