Teacher of improvisation / composition / choreography
After completing both the preparatory programme and the four-year programme to become a dancer, dance teacher and dance maker at Danshuis Haarlem, I started teaching full-time. After a career of more than 10 years, during which I taught students of all ages and in a wide range of styles, I now work exclusively as an improvisation/composition teacher and choreographer for the Preparatory Programme.
In my classes, I encourage students, both young and old, to experience the freedom within themselves. Through exercises and improvisations, I invite you to discover your body, feel the music and claim your space. At the same time, I am fully committed to helping you get the most out of yourself and develop your skills. I believe it is important to tailor my classes to the group of people in front of me. I therefore pay attention to each individual as well as the dynamics of the group, creating the most enjoyable and supportive class possible for everyone!
